Morning Walkabout

 Every morning I open the chicken coup and throw some dry corn out into the forest area for the chickens to begin their daily search.

Ewe with 3 Lambs

 It brings such wonder to witness how the lambs take to their mother, often resting on her warm wooly back.

Quail and Rhododendron

 The spring brings crocus and new shoots on Rhodendrons. If you look carefully you'll also see the baby quail on the arbutus branch under the Rhodendron.

This chook was certainly in charge while protecting all the hens. I saw him chase a hawk.
